A Time to Talk, LLC. is a telehealth practice that offers individual therapy sessions to help clients work through a range of mental health challenges and changes.
Therapy is an opportunity to discuss/talk about issues that are important to the client while having a trained and licensed person help work through not only the current situation but in dealing with similar situations in the future. Therapy can be about one specific problem, or it can be about multiple. Therapy is a collaborative event, it requires an active role from both the client at the therapist for change to occur.
Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long. The length of each session may vary depending on the needs of the client.
Although there are many advantages of online counseling, it’s not right for everyone. Online counseling (teletherapy) works best for those with mild to moderate symptoms, are comfortable using technology, and have a quiet, private place to have their sessions. Teletherapy is not fit for people who are suicidal or in crisis.

No, I am not a medical doctor. Many of my patients find medication is helpful, but many of them also progress well in therapy without medication. If you want to be evaluated for psychiatric medication, please contact your primary care physician or a psychiatrist.
People see a therapist for a wide range of reasons. Sometimes an event occurs that causes an individual to seek out help, while others may attend therapy because it provides a trained objective person to help them work through some issues they may have been struggling with for years. Counseling can be beneficial because a client may feel a sense of control in their life and have the tools to be able to make better decisions or changes in their life.
An appointment can be booked online, via call or text. We are available Monday through Friday for scheduling. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
